YN 21557 Project Evita: joining operations


On January 16, Heesen completed the joining of the hull and superstructure for Project Evita (YN 21557) at our facility in Oss. At 56.7 metres and 780 GT, she represents the largest yacht Heesen has built on speculation to date, following the platform established by her sister ship, the award-winning Santosha.

The week-long operation required absolute precision, beginning with the hull’s rollout on remote-controlled multi-wheelers before it was lowered into the water for a watertightness check. The aluminium superstructure, arriving by barge, was then positioned with the assistance of dual cranes—a milestone that relies on meticulous engineering and seamless coordination between our production teams.

Project Evita now enters an 18-month outfitting phase in Shed 5. During this time, her technical systems will be commissioned, and her bespoke Harrison Eidsgaard interior will be installed by our in-house craftspeople. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
