Louis Liebenberg: Following the Tracks

In 1998, Louis Liebenberg won a Rolex Award for his CyberTracker, a digital tool that enabled indigenous trackers to monetize their skills by recording their observations of wildlife on a handheld device to aid conservation. Downloaded more than 600,000 times, CyberTracker is used in some 200 countries. Now Liebenberg is launching CyberTracker Online, an updated version of the tool for the internet age. The new features could have significant implications for conservation, education and the preservation of the ancient art of tracking. Discover more https://on.rolex.org/3VeYdtl
