Amantaka, Luang Prabang – Luxury Resort & Hotel in Laos – Aman

Amantaka derives its name from Tipitaka, meaning ‘the teaching of the Buddha’ in Theravada scholastic literature. Set on a garden estate with a serene swimming pool at its heart, the 24-Suite resort is housed in graceful French colonial buildings in Lao’s Unesco-protected town of Luang Prabang.

Airy and elegant throughout, the resort and its adjacent Villa are situated just south of Phousi Hill and its magnificent views, within strolling distance of the boutiques and bakeries lining the main street. The fabled night market, picturesque banks of the Mekong River, and former Royal Palace are also nearby.
