Rayyane Tabet’s What Dreams May Come | أيُّ أحلامٍ قَدْ تأتي is an immersive pavilion conceived for Art Basel Qatar under the theme _Becoming_. Formed by two intersecting circular structures woven with natural and artificial palm fronds, the work evokes the simple act of resting beneath a palm tree – opening a shared space for pause amid the Gulf’s shifting cultural landscape.
Drawing on Hamlet’s soliloquy and the freedom of the dream state, the installation invites visitors into a suspended moment between wakefulness and imagination. As Tabet says, ‘Dreams are essentially one of the last spaces for freedom and imagination.’
