Water resistance testing — RICHARD MILLE

No watch can be entirely waterproof, which is why the term “water resistance” is used. Richard Mille timepieces are designed and tested for water resistance ratings of 30, 50, 100, or 300 meters. However, this water resistance can diminish over time due to daily temperature fluctuations affecting the watch case, crystal, crown, and their seals. Therefore, it is essential to schedule an annual appointment to check the water resistance for optimal security.
