Watchmaking Down to the Smallest Details “Guillochage” I Audemars Piguet


“Guillochage” is the engine-turning process used to create the guilloché pattern. On this Royal Oak dial, 46,000 diamond shapes almost invisible to the naked eye are created through the engraving of a continuous 0,09 mm line, ultimately coming together as a Grande Tapisserie.
