Vacheron Constantin unveils two 25-piece limited editions dedicated to the Year of the Horse through the Métiers d’Art The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac series. The timepieces, available in 950 platinum or 18K 5N pink gold, are powered by the self-winding manufacture Calibre 2460 G4, designed to create an expansive canvas for the decorative arts, thanks to the absence of conventional hands. Instead, a system of four discs displays the indications in apertures positioned around the periphery of the dial.
The dial showcases a horse leaping over a rock, achieved through relief engraving, micro-painting, and grand feu enamelling. The use of relief engraving creates visual depth and enhances the impression of dynamic movement.
