Ulysse Nardin | WHAT IF A WATCH COULD REDEFINE WHAT TIME-TELLING SHOULD STAND FOR?

Ulysse Nardin dared to ask this question and answered it with the Freak collection. With no dial, no hands, and no crown, the Freak is a true horological marvel that defies all preconceptions of what a watch should be. Its design is an ode to innovation, a bold statement that sets it apart from any other timepiece.

NO DIAL – The Freak has no dial. Its movement doubles as its minute hand, while the hour hand is a pointer set on a rotating disc that sits under the movement.

NO HANDS – The one-hour orbital carrousel tourbillon becomes the minute hand, and the hour hand is replaced by a pointer on a rotating disc. A challenging design, but easy to read.

NO CROWN -The original Freak replaced the crown with a time setting system integrated into the bezel and was wound via a mechanism in the case back.

The Freak is not just a watch; it’s a piece of art.
