The Calibre 2757 S brings extensive research and state-of-the-art materials to complications that the Maison has excelled at for over a century, yielding a 696-part movement of rare complexity.
The two-column single-pusher chronograph is accurate to 1/5 of a second, thanks to the 18,000 vph movement. Strategic choices of weight-saving materials like titanium allow a comfortable power reserve of 50 hours with the chronograph engaged, indicated by a display on the back of the watch.
Meanwhile, the tourbillon now has a spherical hairspring to enhance isochronism. The cadence and duration of the minute-repeater’s musical sequence have been enhanced thanks to a centripetal flying strike governor that smoothly controls incoming energy.
