Echoing the mosaics, this edition features a distinctive marble inlay framed in solid Au 750 gold and accented with diamonds for a striking contrast. In tribute to the Sun King’s secret ciphers—the ‘Grand Chiffre’ and ‘Petit Chiffre’—a hidden compartment beneath the diamond-encrusted Montblanc emblem reveals the numbers 070 and 479, the code for Sa Majesté Le Roy (His Majesty the King).
