The Savoir-Faire Behind the Corolle Lamp

As if by magic, supreme savoir-faire transforms the Corolle Portable Lamp by French designer, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, and Cordelia de Castellane from bead to bell. Forged by fire, the bead is melted and then mouth-blown, ballooning into a dome form that then settles in the annealer for 14 hours. Thereafter, this supreme object of desire is polished and cut with a diamond saw.
