The roll-out of the LMP 2000 on the Weissach test track marks a return to 1999, when itwas developed with winning Le Mans in mind. Although the project was eventually halted for cost reasons, the car was completed, tested and then kept under wraps for over two decades. Now, Porsche Heritage and Museum have revived it, with contemporary witnesses gathered to see Allan McNish take the wheel once again, just as he did in 1999.
