The Making Of a Gucci Gown for Björk

Spirals of pleated organza, cascading sequin fringe, and crystalline trims rhythmically swirl together in graduating tones of red around a latex body suit. Envisioned by Alessandro Michele and crafted by the hands of the House’s artisans, the gown is one of the two custom looks continuing the Creative Director’s dialogue with Björk. The dramatic riot of sparkles and volumes concludes with a flower-like train, fully embodying the music featured in Björk’s new film ‘Ovule,’ made together with Nick Knight.

Directed by Tommaso Arnaldi.
