Carol and Heming are two of of our inspiring entrepreneurs in The Founders Initiative – a programme by APX and Porsche that supports the next generation of dreamers and doers. They are on a mission to change the way the world sees and understands neurodivergent children. As a founder team, they believe in promoting self-love and acceptance for children whose brains experience the world differently. Their first book, Different! Awesome!, aims to teach kids and their communities about autism in a neurodiversity-affirming and engaging way. By providing colourful new perspectives, they hope to make a difference by boosting confidence and empowering allies, one page at a time.
Nominated by industry champion Dr. Erika Burk, Carol’s and Heming’s ambition to embrace broader mindscapes in an entertaining and colourful way made them stand out. As part of The Founders Initiative, they and other inspiring founders are prepared to take their business to the next level.
