“The Center for the Critical Appreciation of Antiquity” by Andreas Angelidakis I Audemars Piguet

Created by Greek artist Andreas Angelidakis and commissioned by Audemars Piguet Contemporary, Center for the Critical Appreciation of Antiquity is a large-scale immersive artwork that incorporates sculpture, architecture, music and film, transforming the interior dome of the iconic Espace Niemeyer in Paris.

The curatorial team at Audemars Piguet Contemporary worked closely with Angelidakis to realise this commission. The collaboration highlights the programme’s ongoing mission: to support an artist in the creation of a new work, enabling them to nuture their creativity and further expand on their practice.
