The team leaves Austin with 24 points, courtesy of a solid Sprint race with Charles Leclerc in third and Carlos Sainz in sixth. The race on Sunday proved challenging and ended with mixed fortunes. Due to a technical infringement caused by the bumpy circuit and track specific factors, Charles’ car faced disqualification being millimetres outside the FIA regulations and Carlos inherited P3, scoring valuable points.
We head to the next round, the Mexico City Grand Prix, at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
