Artist Sabine Marcelis celebrates the radiant light that daily renews the splendor of Rome’s treasures. Situated in the heart of the city, the artist’s dynamic installation offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the urban landscape, capturing and refracting sunlight. 12 travertine-based pillars adorned with colored mirrors rotate continuously tracing the path of the sun from dawn until dusk. Each rotation produces a new gradient, reflecting a reinvented view of the cityscape below.
