Rolls-Royce | 20 Years at Goodwood (2003-2023)

We’re proud to celebrate our first 20 years of production at the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood. It was at one minute after midnight on 1 January 2003 that we handed over the very first Rolls-Royce of the Goodwood era – a Phantom – to its new owner, who still has the car to this day.

Much has changed in our first two decades. We’ve gone from making one car a day to selling more than 6,000 in a single year. We’ve also transformed our business to become a true House of Luxury, making some of the world’s rarest and most desirable luxury goods.

Some things, however, have remained constant. Goodwood is still the only place on Earth where our motor cars are designed and hand-built, every one of them to order and including Bespoke elements specified by the customer. We are firmly committed to maintaining the highest levels of craftsmanship, technology and innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in everything we do. Above all, we seek to delight our customers, constantly evolving our products and our brand to reflect their changing requirements. It is our pleasure and privilege to build, for them, the best car in the world – now, and for the decades to come.
