Few landscapes are as elemental as Greenland, and even fewer yachts can venture so far. OCTOPUS, the world’s first purpose-built explorer yacht, was built precisely for this type of destination. Her hull is ice class, her autonomy exceptional, and she comes complete with dual helicopter pads, a dive centre, and a science laboratory.
Jarmo Pohjaniemi travelled to the low Arctic to capture OCTOPUS in her natural environment. This was just one stop on a global voyage, photographing 37 Lürssens for the Lürssen Fine Art book.
