PC-6 – Spotted by a 10” SC Reflecting Telescope

Marc Maradan from Grenchen is an amateur astronomer. He enjoys astronomy in general, and observing the sun, the moon and the planets. He records and logs the sun’s activity using a 10″ SC reflecting telescope by MEADE Instruments, and makes videos with various filters used for observing the sun. A Pilatus Porter from the local airfield in Grenchen flew right in front of his reflecting telescope. There’s something epic about this video – after all, it’s not every day that you see a Pilatus Porter fly by in front of a sun filmed in the 540 nanometre range!
