Having entrusted the custom design of looks for his Orelsan Tour 2022 tour to Kim Jones, Artistic Director of the Dior men’s collections, French rapper Orelsan paid a visit to the House’s menswear ateliers where he discovered the petites mains at work bringing the pieces to life. Here, he enthusiastically learned about the special jacquard weaving technique that gives the Dior Oblique motif a 3D appearance on a hooded jacket and corresponding jumpsuit, and discussed the decorative four-pointed motifs from his ‘Civilisation’ album that would not only appear as patches but also in appliqué form on the back.
