Meet the collectors | Édouard Carmignac

In this episode of ‘Meet the collectors’, Édouard Carmignac takes us on a sensorial journey on the island of Porquerolles to discover Villa Carmignac. As the public-facing branch of the foundation he started in 2000, the villa has hosted an ongoing cultural program as well as temporary exhibitions curated from his vast collection since 2018. In this unique setting, art and nature merge to create a welcoming and harmonious experience. Artworks by the likes of Bruce Nauman, Jeppe Hein, Ugo Rondinone, and Ed Ruscha suggest a poetic path – an invitation, explains Carmignac, to get away from everyday life.
