So it’s looking like there could be more changes this year than we thought.
Pull-rod suspension could be back! And, in case you didn’t know – thats a fairly different system to the push-rod system that has been on the front of the majority of cars since about 2010.
So why is it back? And what will it change for the new cars?
Well, as ever, we’ve got Scarbs back to explain – oh, and he was one of the first to spot this system in the back of McLaren’s social media footage – that’s a story that needs explaining.

So here’s the story. Obviously, none of the teams want to reveal ANYTHING about their new cars yet – as it would give away potential secrets to the other teams – and with the season still a little way away – a competitor could copy (sorry, ‘take inspiration’) and get it working on the car for the first race.
But Mclaren have been braver than most, posting images of very close up stuff – or footage with the car hidden.
But Scarbs spotted a couple of things that gave it away – and it was interesting to watch it all play out on Twitter.
