McLaren Tech Club – Episode 32 – How does the e-diff make the difference to the McLaren Artura?


Every element of our McLaren Artura contributes to a uniquely intense experience. Key to this is our first-ever deployment of an electronically controlled differential (e-diff), that independently controls torque moving across the rear axle.

Lighter and more controllable than a mechanical differential, the e-diff locks and unlocks individual rear wheels to improve the Artura’s traction out of corners.
