Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup – Preview 2021

The 31st edition of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup will take place from 5-11 September. Revered as the annual showcase for the world’s fastest and most powerful monohull yachts, the event is considered the perfect sailing package. Rolex has been proud to support the competition and its organizers the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS) since the early 1980s. Defined by its professional race management, excellence on the water and alluring sailing environment, the event is open to Maxi yachts measuring upwards of 18.29 metres (60 feet) in length. Across different classes, organized according to yacht type, design and size, an intense five-day competition lies ahead through a combination of windward/leeward and coastal racing. Crews are comprised of elite sailing talent with consistent performances the key to a successful week.
