Making of the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43 mm. Once the 381 parts of the Manufacture’s latest integrated selfwinding chronograph are assembled, the movement can take place into the pink gold case.
From the pink gold case highlighted by the black ceramic bezel to the push-pieces and screw-locked crown, crafted in black ceramics and magnified by the sandblasted pink gold push-piece guards, the powerful contrast between 18-carat pink gold and black ceramics extends to each layer of this new take on the Royal Oak Offshore 43mm. The bezel is matched with a black “Méga Tapisserie” dial adorned with rhodium-toned chronograph counters, whereas the pink gold hour-markers, Royal Oak hands and applied gold AP initials highlight the case’s two-toned design. The watch is eventually fitted with the Manufacture’s new interchangeable strap system, directly integrated into the buckle and case’s studs, allowing to change them with a quick click and release.
