Les Cabinotiers Tribute to the Tour de l’Île – Guilloché and Miniature

Les Cabinotiers Tribute to the Tour de l’Île – Guilloché and Miniature

Each of the three one-of-one pieces that make up the anniversary Tour de L’Île trio from Les Cabinotiers workshop showcases a technique foundational to Geneva’s watchmaking heritage, a legacy to which Vacheron Constantin has contributed without interruption for 270 years.

A symphony of tawny hues, this watch was inspired by early 20th-century illustration from the Geneva photographic workshop Charnaux. On a sandblasted dial plate of 18K 5N yellow gold, whose texture further increased the precision required, the guillocheur used a wide variety of patterns to sketch and differentiate parts of the buildings, enhancing depth and architectural perspective.
