Julien Creuzet and Chanel at the Venice Biennale 2024 – CHANEL Culture Fund

At the Venice Biennale, Chanel honoured the artist, poet, sculptor and scholar Julien Creuzet.

With Chanel’s exceptional support, Creuzet transformed the France Pavilion into an aquatic world of poetry and mysticism.

A professor in Paris who grew up on the island of Martinique, he is the first artist of Caribbean descent to represent France at the Venice Biennale.

The House has supported pioneering artists for more than a century. Founded to extend this legacy, the CHANEL Culture Fund creates the conditions for artists like Julien Creuzet to dare.

Music composed by Ismaïl Lazam and interpreted by Makeda Monnet.
