Continuing from where we left off, Cornelius and David methodically assemble additional engine components, including the crankshaft, Lanchester linkage, main bearing bridges, and more. Precision is key as they inspect the sealing ring before injecting sealing compound into the control housing cover. Simultaneously, they complete the primary drive assembly by installing control gears and sliding rails. Cornelius takes the reins, personally fitting the control housing cover.
As all components fall into place, and every inspection gate is successfully passed, it’s time for the final steps.
The engine undergoes a cold test to ensure it’s in peak condition. And in an unforgettable moment, Cornelius is bestowed with the honor of signing the engine’s badge.
