I Don’t Like Watches: Gérald Genta, The Unintended Revolutionary

Nautilus was sketched in five minutes, inspired by a diving helmet and the Royal Oak, in a single night, inspired by a transatlantic ship. While the Ingenieur was modernised with an iconic sportier aesthetic. All created by the visionary, Gérald Genta.

In this exclusive conversation, Alexia Genta joins Nicholas Foulkes to reveal the myth, the dreamer, the legend and his imagination that continues to shape the watch world today. Together, they trace the story of a legend, reminding us that great design, like time itself, never truly fades.

Happening from 3:30-4:30 PM on Friday, 21st November, at Dubai Watch Week 2025. Click the link below to add it to your calendar and join us live at Dubai Mall, Burj Park or catch the livestream on YouTube.
