Taking a short break from dominating the Formula 1 tracks, racing legend Fernando Alonso recently visited Sunreef Yachts to check the progress of his 60 Sunreef Power Eco yacht.
Between a meeting with our design team and a tour of the manufacturing halls, the two-time world champion decided to reach for a new podium … at the Sunreef GP.
Nobody knows how and when, but at some point, the Sunreef shipyard turned into a racing circuit. With a small RC electric car, Fernando Alonso navigated through our manufacturing facility at full speed, from the Office Grid, through the R&D Curve, all the way to the Carpentry Corner, the Paint Shop Pit Stop, straight to the Launching Pool Leap, and back to the office.
