The 2020 exhibition Picasso’s Studios at Fire Station: Artist in Residence showcased some of the intimate and iconic works by Pablo Picasso that he chose to keep in his own studio spaces throughout his life, from his arrival in Paris around 1900 to his last stay in the South of France.
Picasso’s Studios, organised in partnership with the Musée national Picasso-Paris, looks at the intimate examination of Pablo Picasso’s places of creation throughout his life, from his arrival in Paris around 1900 as a young artist to his last stay in the South of France, in the city of Mougins. Picasso occupied a large number of studios over the course of his storied career and they bear a close connection to his development of iconic movements in Modern art history. From the exceptional collections of the Musée national Picasso-Paris the objects on view range from landmark paintings to sculpture, drawings, engravings and ceramic works. They are the works that Picasso kept in his studios, the works from which he did not want to be separated from.

قدم معرض “استوديوهات بيكاسو”، الذي أقيم في مطافئ في الفترة من 1 يوليو إلى 1 نوفمبر ٢٠٢٠، بعض الأعمال الحميمة والإبداعية لبابلو بيكاسو التي اختار الاحتفاظ بها في الاستوديوهات الخاصة به طوال حياته، منذ وصوله إلى باريس حوالي عام ١٩٠٠ إلى آخر إقامة له في جنوب فرنسا.
يقود معرض “استوديوهات بيكاسو” زواره في جولة حميمة على الفضاءات الإبداعية التي تنقّل بينها بابلو بيكاسو بدءاً من وصوله إلى باريس حوالي عام 1900 كفنان شاب وانتهاءً بمقر إقامته الأخير في جنوب فرنسا في موجان. فعلى امتداد مسيرة إبداعية حافلة، شَغَل بيكاسو عدة استوديوهات كان لها صدى كبير في ما تركه من بصمات واضحة على مستوى تطوّر التيارات الفنية البارزة في عالَم الفن الحديث. يُقدّم المعرض – الذي يتم تنظيمه في إطار شراكة مع متحف بيكاسو الوطني في باريس – مقتنيات معارة من هذا المتحف تشمل أعمالاً استثنائية متنوعة من لوحات ومنحوتات ورسومات وأعمال مطبوعة وأخرى خزفية. إنه معرض لتلك الأعمال التي احتفظ بها عبقري القرن العشرين في مُحترفاته الفنية والتي لم يرغب بأن تفارقه أبداً.
