The United Nations General Assembly declared April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day. We, at the National Museum of Qatar, are dedicated to improving our understanding of autism and implementing changes, wherever possible, to ensure that the museum remains accessible for all.
We invited Dr. Adrienne Robek from the Child Development Center to help us learn more about the autism spectrum and its prevalence in our society.
أعلنت الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة يوم 2 أبريل من كل عام يومًا عالميًّا للتوعية بمرض التوحد. نحرص دائمًا في متحف قطر الوطني على فهم طبيعة هذا المرض بشكل أكبر، واتخاذ جميع الإجراءات الممكنة لكي يبقى المتحف متاحًا أمام الجميع.
وفي هذا الإطار أجرينا مقابلة مع الدكتورة أدريان روبيك مديرة مركز تنمية الطفل في قطر، تحدثت إلينا خلالها عن اضطراب طيف التوحد ومعدل انتشاره في المجتمع القطري.
