Performance, dance, the sensuality of human movement: at first, these seem incompatible with the cool logic of binary code. However, some of the first experiments in the relationship between art and technology took place when the dancer and choreographer Yvonne Rainier took part in the legendary Experiments in Art and Technology series. Today, performance artists such as Ana Maria Caballero combine poetry with blockchain, and Operator play with the codes of dance. This panel explores the ongoing evolution between the body, emotions, and code.
