The architecture of the chronograph mechanism has been rethought to save space and showcase components usually hidden from view. The movement’s thickness was reduced by 1.1 mm by merging two systems usually superposed. The split-seconds mechanism is now housed in the centre of the oscillating weight’s ball bearing and takes centre stage when the “secret” cover is open.
