On the occasion of the European Artistic Crafts Days, taking place from April 2 to 7, 2024, Cartier is honoring glyptics. The art of sculpting and engraving fine gems and hard stones is a rare craft, which has been integrated into the Maison’s High Jewellery workshops since 2010. Today, Emilie Marques, student of Maître d’Art Philippe Nicolas, runs Cartier’s glyptics workshop in Paris and passes on her savoir-faire to four in-house glypticians.
