A visionary designer and pioneering engineer ahead of his time, Jean Bugatti pushed established boundaries, changing the automotive landscape forever and the Type 55, the first ever Super Sport model in the brand’s history, testifies it.
Working together with the customer, the BUGATTI Sur Mesure team applied the famous duotone paint scheme introduced by Jean on his Type 55 to this CHIRON Super Sport. Adorned in the black and yellow combination so favored by Jean’s father, Ettore Bugatti, it is a truly artistic tribute to BUGATTI’s legacy.
The exterior features Nocturne Black and a yellow tone specially developed for this car. A hand-applied fading ’55’ pattern above the headlights and fenders draws attention to the horseshoe grille, narrowing the front end and evoking the fuselage shape of its predecessor. The fading ’55’ motif continues inside where it is hand-stitched into the door panels, while the headrests feature a unique ’55 1 of 1′ insignia.
