Art has long played a vital role in shaping perspectives, challenging conventions and encouraging reflection. Through emotion and imagination, artists, writers, and designers can influence mindsets and contribute to a more equitable and inclusive society.
After a performance by calligrapher Shoko Kanazawa, this session brings together Hami Miharu Matsunaga, Art Director & Artist, and Mami Kataoka, Director of the Mori Art Museum. They will reflect on the evolving role of women in the arts, the responsibilities of curators and institutions, and how the creative landscape is transforming, what the future of art looks like, and how it can continue to inspire change.
