An ultra-thin minute repeater movement to express the spirit of heroism

At the heart of each of the four single-piece edition watches of the ‘Homage to Epic Warriors’ series lies the ultra-thin manufacture minute repeater movement, Calibre 1731. This movement transcribes the time shown on the dial into a series of perfectly programmed strikes. The pure and harmonious sound of the chimes echoes the chiming of bells and the sounding of trumpets, which have announced victories throughout history.

The beauty of the movement’s architecture is visible through the transparent caseback, which reveals most of the gear train as well as the hammers, gong and strike governor. Its open and airy look is enhanced by meticulous component finishes that combine to create an eye-catching play of light.

A testament to Vacheron Constantin’s enduring legacy.
