This week, the historic yacht Piet Hein was officially welcomed into the Feadship Heritage Fleet during a special ceremony in Amsterdam.
Designed by Henri W. de Voogt and gifted to Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard in 1937, Piet Hein has been lovingly preserved by Stichting Piet Hein and volunteers for decades. Her membership in the fleet recognises her importance as part of Dutch maritime heritage.
As the newly appointed flagship of the Feadship Heritage Fleet, Piet Hein proudly led 35 classic Feadships into Amsterdam during the Sail-in of SAIL. A fitting tribute to her royal history and enduring legacy.
