A tica, or native Costa Rican, Karen Arceyuth imparts her particular brand of hospitality to guests every day with her one-of-a-kind cocktails at Nemare. Born in San José, Costa Rica, Karen arrived in Guanacaste with one goal – to work at Four Seasons.
As one of the most popular bartenders at the Resort, Karen is in high demand because she not only creates delicious cocktails, she makes a connection with guests and helps them create lasting memories of their time at Four Seasons.
About her job, Karen says she loves the fact that she can express her feelings through a cocktail and share it with a guest. It’s a very unique bond that keeps them coming back for more.
She is in a special position to learn about guests on a very personal level. Karen deepens the connection by recommending her favourite spots in Costa Rica – beaches, mountains, and more; she wants guests can fall under the pura vida spell.
For the future, Karen dreams of travelling the world and doing what few have – visiting every Four Seasons hotel and resort.
