A new film goes behind the scenes at the Spa 24 Hour race, showing all the adrenaline, exhaustion and spirit of the factory-supported Jota Sport team as it goes into battle with the McLaren 720S GT3
The Spa 24 Hours is one of the biggest races on the GT3 endurance calendar. Held on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps Grand Prix circuit in Belgium, almost sixty teams competed in the 2021 event as part of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. McLaren Automotive is represented in the series by two works-supported teams, all running the 720S GT3 as part of our Customer Racing programme.
Our new thirty-minute documentary film follows the Jota Sport team in the build up to Spa, through qualifying and on, into the nail-biting, weather affected race. With the 720S GT3 proving competitive in both wet and dry conditions, watch the three factory GT3 drivers, Ollie Wilkinson, Rob Bell and Ben Barnicoat, battle hard to the rain-soaked chequered flag.
