RM X McLaren – A long-standing partnership — RICHARD MILLE


The McLaren brand has stood at the pinnacle of Formula 1 for almost 60 years, and its reputation for continual technical innovation, meticulous attention to detail, and race-winning success perfectly aligns with the philosophy of Richard Mille.
In 2016, Richard Mille proudly announced a long-term partnership with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, a collaboration that culminated the following year in the creation of the world’s lightest split-seconds tourbillon chronograph, the RM 50-03. The partnership was subsequently extended to McLaren Automotive, giving rise to the iconic RM 11-03 Automatic McLaren, the RM 40-01 Speedtail Automatic Tourbillon, and more recently the RM 65-01 W1 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph—timepieces whose designs draw directly from the lines and philosophy of the British manufacturer’s production cars.
This collaboration represents a perfectly balanced partnership, built on a shared passion for modern technology, cutting-edge design, and precision engineering. On the Formula 1 circuit, soon in the FIA World Endurance Championship, or on the road, Richard Mille accompanies McLaren in all its endeavors, working hand in hand to share expertise, push the limits of technology, and pursue this journey together for many years to come.
