Rolex mentoring programme – Anne Lacaton & Arine Aprahamiam

In 2023–2024, through the Rolex mentoring programme, Lebanese-Armenian architect Arine Aprahamian was guided by French Pritzker Prize-winning architect Anne Lacaton as she conducted a study of Beirut’s Bourj Hammoud neighbourhood, where she grew up. In a place where space is scarce and public areas are nearly absent, she examines how small, strategic changes can improve quality of life. Mentoring forms part of Rolex’s commitment to the transmission of knowledge to the next generation. It takes place alongside its support for leading arts institutions and artists around the world through the Perpetual Arts Initiative. Discover more https://on.rolex.com/3RVhsWQ
