For the delicate embellishment of a Dior Spring-Summer 2022 Haute Couture by Maria Grazia Chiuri two-piece look, the House called on the ‘plumassier’ savoir-faire of Maison Lemarié, an atelier in Paris specializing in featherworking. Subtly dyed in dégradé shades, slender feathers were mounted in rows on silk chiffon – an atypical choice of fabric – and accented with crystals, ensuring a breezy, fluttering effect with every step.
