Discover Turtle Conservation with Jumeirah on World Sea Turtle Day 2021

World Sea Turtle Day takes place on 16th June each year, to raise awareness of these magnificent creatures, many of which are classified as an endangered species. Since Jumeirah’s Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project was launched in 2004 at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, in collaboration with Dubai’s Wildlife Protection Office, it has managed to rescue and rehabilitate almost 2,000 sea turtles across the UAE, with the help of environmentally conscious tourists and residents. Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Jumeirah Al Naseem and Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort are key contributors to the conservation of the endangered Hawksbill, Green, Loggerhead and Olive Ridley sea turtles.
