Rolex Swan Cup 2024 – A majestic fleet

The 2024 Rolex Swan Cup is underway in the waters off Porto Cervo, Sardinia. An impressive and diverse fleet of 101 yachts have registered for the 22nd edition of this iconic biennial regatta. Today’s first day of racing delivered intense competition across all four divisions with a mix of coastal and windward/leeward courses offered by the Race Committee. Four days of racing remain with the final prizegiving held on Saturday 21 September. Forty years ago, the 1984 edition of this regatta marked the beginning of Rolex’s remarkable relationship with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS). It was also notable for the coming together of the Swiss watchmaker and the Finnish shipyard, Nautor Swan, two brands synonymous with excellence, innovation and elegance.
