One final lookback at ‘Wheatfield – A Confrontation’ 🌾


Forty-two years after staging it in Lower Manhattan, the American artist Agnes Denes reprised her most iconic work at #ArtBasel in Basel, curated by Samuel Leuenberger.

The project concluded with a late summer harvest: Vistors were invited to take home a souvenir, Art Basel collaborated with local producers to turn the remainder of the wheat into flour, distributed throughout the region to bakeries and food shelters alike.
