As part of its Perpetual Planet Initiative, Rolex is pleased to announce the new Laureates of the Rolex Awards for Enterprise. These five pioneers will help to improve lives while protecting the planet for future generations through ambitious projects including: providing clean water to communities in Kenya’s arid regions; establishing nature reserves to protect West Africa’s forests; monitoring and protecting East Asia’s last wild camel population; mobilizing community-led efforts to restore Peru’s cloud forests; and working with rural craftswomen in Indonesia to change the way clothing is manufactured.
