In 2007, Koenigsegg took its first shot at racing with the CCGT. Promising beginnings were cut short as GT1 regulations shifted and the series was discontinued. Now in 2023, the CCGT qualifies for historic GT Racing, giving it a chance to compete against its original rivals.
